Our learning focus for the next 2 weeks:
Reading: Reading assessments with Ms.G, asking questions before, during and after reading; Telling about a story- characters, setting, events; Letterland word skills- digraphs, open/closed syllables, blends, spelling sight words correctly
Writing: Writing small moment stories (narrative true story), editing with a partner, checking for punctuation, capitals, sight words, spacing
Daily 5: Introducing read to someone, word work and listen to reading; making choices for each day
Social Studies: Learning about the government, community and being a citizen
Math: Quick facts- addition and subtraction to 20, number partners to 10, making a ten strategy, equal or not equal equations magic mountains (addition)
